Description of the collection

This collection bears witness to the birth of telecommunication, a discipline that was at the heart of the first scientific animations presented at the MASC since its foundation.

Development of the collection

The pieces were acquired by several private donations, and a bequest from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation in 2019.

The collection in the museum

Several pieces are exhibited in the animation room related to electricity, and a space is also entirely dedicated to them within the museum. The MASC team is currently working on the creation of a new scenography and the drafting of labels.
