The science hidden in our toy boxes
Cette animation temporaire est COMPLÈTE
Once a year, our scientific animators develop a temporary animation on a new theme. This is an opportunity for your students to enjoy a unique experience at the Maison de la Science!
As every year, the Maison de la Science is offering a new temporary animation specially designed for pupils in primary3 to 6 (9 - 12 years old). Let's dive into the heart of a toy chest, and meet the puzzle, the moo box and the stereoscope. These toys of today and yesteryear can be used to explore a range of scientific themes, from physics to biology and mathematics.
The event is rounded off by a self-guided tour of the museum's various rooms, taking students on an encounter with scientific instruments, minerals and interactive devices of all kinds.
The event is designed to be participatory: children are invited to carry out a large proportion of the experiments themselves, and thus cultivate their curiosity and critical thinking skills. The concepts studied are taken directly from the core competencies.
An educational pack (€1) is available for teachers, enabling them to explore and exploit the concepts covered during their visit to the Maison de la Science.
