Taking part in the scientific workshops at the Maison de la Science means learning the scientific method by practising
Through a number of themes relating to different core skills, pupils are the driving force of their learning. In a playful atmosphere, the workshops bring the pleasure of learning and the joy of discovery. The workshops last 90 minutes and offer a path of discovery in small groups. We hope to encourage the sharing of ideas and observations through regular pooling during the session.

Discover all the secrets of a simple electrical circuit. So, insulator or conductor?
Discover green and renewable energy. Will you choose the wind turbine, the hydroelectric dam or the solar car?
Put yourself in Sherlock Holmes’ shoes. Will you be able to analyse the clues and identify the culprit?

Workshop-debate during which each group of pupils is assigned a theory of evolution to defend.
In addition to a visit to the Galerie de la Botanique along with a video and a booklet, come and carry out experiments on plant nutrition!
